Default ubuntu Live CD trouble :(

well im using this tutorial https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PlayStation_3

anyways when i go to install the progress stops at 15% while it is "Detecting file systems..." anyways, is there anyway to fix this cause i've done a completly full format alloting 10GB for ubuntu and still has the same problem. BTW when it asks what disk i want to install it comes up with an error saying something about apple bootstrap blah blah..it says go back or continue but when i go back there is nothing i can do to change it so i just select continue.

please help. thanks.

no i had the same problem. i spent like 10 mins deleting every process that was running. some will start back up. make sure youre not deleting the same thing over and over again. after about 15 apps deleted i got past the 15%, it started to install and we lived happily ever after

I had the same issue - downloaded the beta and it worked fine. Filename:

ubuntu-7.04-beta-desktop-powerpc+ps3.iso

Once you've done it run a system update and you'll be fine!
