Gentoo installed, issues continue.
Hey all,
I've got gentoo installed. I've tried emerging Gnome to get out of the very simplistic XDM and fluxbox. Problem is I am constantly getting errors.
* Could not find a usable .config in the kernel source directory
* Please ensure that /Usr/src/linux points to a configured set of Linux sources
* If you are using KBUILD_OUTPUT, please set the enviroment var so that
* it points to the necessary object directory so that it might find .config
I've gone onto gentoo irc to see what I could get. Had a couple people give me patch job solutions, but I would just get the same error further down the line in the emerge process.
Anyone else having these problems?
