Default PS3 Ubuntu help.

PS3 Ubuntu help.

Okay, I'm getting along fine with Ubuntu Linux, but there's still some things that I can't figure out or google isn't exactly being friendly. I have just a few questions if you guys don't mind answering:

1. XMAME. I have it installed, but how do I get joystick support? Same goes for Snes9x. I have them running, but isn't it possible to get my Sixaxis to work with these? I really don't care if it connected through either USB or Bluetooth, but point is I need help configuring this to work.

2. Is there an actual working front end for XMAME on the PS3? I can't seem to find any that work. All that I have found are one's that work in Linux, but only for x86, which as you know won't work.

Yeah, that's all that I need help with. Thanks.

Oh, and one more question. Snes9x doesn't seem to want to work under fullscreen, it's complaining about some error. Is there a fix for this?

Default

I cant help with everything since its a little different with gentoo but I was told that xmame doesn't have joystick support by default so I had to add the USE command USE="joystick" to get it working on gentoo.

As for a gui for xmame yes there is one its called gxmame that works with ppc Linux distros I use it on gentoo. Someone had the same question about this will find the topic and quote what I said before.

Edit: Here it is.
