Hello everyone!
I'm following the stickied guide to install Ubuntu. I get to Step 6, then I get this: (rewritten from TV; might contain errors)
Quote:
Ubuntu PS3 KBoot Loader
No default root file was found, or one was found and it didn't contain a message= config file.
If no rootfs was found, you can enter the shell here with 'sh'. Exiting will return you to this prompt. In the shell you can mount your rootfs as /mnt/root/.
Reasons this may have happened include:
- No drive with a rootfs was actually found.
- Your rootfs does not have the correct volume label of "/"
- Your rootfs is corrupt (use the rescue CD to fix this).

I can enter sh and type in boot-game-os to get back to XMB, so I'm not freaked "OMFG I BRICKED MY PS3 NOOO!!1".
I followed the steps exactly as they were, including the part that says put your CD
after seeing the welcome message. I tried putting it before but the same thing happened... And I burned the disc 3 times on 3 different burners.
Erm, idears? Thanks!

Uh, nevermind, just had to remove the USB stick before rebooting.
