I just recently installed the newest version of yld. (yellowdog-5.0.2-20070711.iso). The problem that i am having is that since i have updated to the newest version my ps3 hasn't been able to read dvds,cd, or even micro sds. This problem only occurs when I am using ydl. When i use the ps3 os everything works fine, so i believe the problem lies with the ydl os. I use to use the older version of ydl (ver. yellowdog-5.0.1-phoenix-20070511-PS3.iso) and never had any of these problems. The way i changed to the newer ydl os, was buy completely removing the old ydl and installing the newer one. i don't think i installed the os incorrectly. I was hoping someone could help me fix the problem with the new ydl version not being able to read any types of disks, mini/micro sd, or cf. In fact, it doesn't even show that the volumes even exist. Thank you for any help in this matter.

you might just want to re-install 5.0.1 though cause in 5.0.2 doesnt detect the sixaxis gamepad wired or not. Quote:
