I'm currently using YDL and after I switched over to the KDE interface, I noticed that, after you leave it alone long enough it starts a screen saver. I'm familiar with screen savers, but I must know... are they also for windows or only for linux? These are the most awsome savers I have ever seen in my life. and I must know if where they are available. Also where are they available for linux. I might change to Fedora, but I'm too comfortable with YDL for it to be anytime soon.

from what i tried when using linux i cannot use the screen savers in windows i think its because of the kinds like the open GL ones i tried looking for others on the net and can't find any. best bet is the screen savers in linux are only ment for linux and i guess it depends on the type slackware, fedora, gentoo, and mandrake

why? whats the point? you apply a screen saver to a computer for burn in reduction. screensavers come on when you are not using the computer... so why would you want a pretty one? if you want to look at something pretty, then get a visualizer for some music. i can recommend a good one.
