Default Best Books on Ubuntu & Upgrading Questions

Hi! I'm a n00b to Linux and I've decided to go ahead and install Ubuntu 7.04 ppc onto my 60GB PS3, mainly for MAME and the OpenOffice program. I'm downloading Ubuntu right now...zzzzzz...

I have two questions about Ubuntu:

1) Which books out there are the best in explaining how to use Ubuntu Linux to a n00b? I'm looking how to do simple stuff like install programs, connect to a home WiFi setup, etc...

2) I understand that Ubuntu v7.10 is coming out very soon. How difficult is it to upgrade Linux? Has anyone heard if it's worth upgrading from 7.04 to 7.10 on the PS3?

Thanks in advance for answering.

https://help.ubuntu.com/ <-- The second best book out there...
http://ubuntuforums.org/ <-- The best, but is dependant on your ability to ask questions. xD ( and SEARCH )

Upgrading is simple, if it's as easy as Linux on a PC, just click update when you are notified. xD ( It's approximately a 600mb update tho. )

Thanks for the resources, but I was kinda looking for a paperback book that had the information in it. I'm weird like that; I even printed out the Ubuntu install guides that are here on QJ. I'd rather buy a book than waste my toner.

Um, maybe?

I checked Amazon earlier and saw like 6 different books (the other one that caught my eye was the Ubuntu for Non-Geeks book on that page) and I was wondering if anyone here could vouch or trash either (or any) of them.

I'm at 37.1%...my DSL sucks...

EDIT: 50.2%...I should also add to the apps I'd like to get running are Firefox, Thunderbird, and Stella or some other Atari 2600 emu if there's one.
