first off i used the text loader, wouldnt take the commands, so i found a graphic loader slightly larger in size it loads the disk on the left side of the screen with a few options at the bottom like change screen size, edit, game-os and exit

i don't know. the first time I tried it, it didn't see any of my linux partitions. the second time, it saw them but they refused to boot. i just finally gave up and switched back to the kboot.

is it the kboot version that goes with fedora 8? try installing another distro such as YDL 6. I found that fedora ran slowly and didn't recognize any of my hardware.

Fedora 9 is still in alpha and so it wouldn't be any help really.
I just checked the kboot version u mentioned, the 2008 version is correct.

YDL 5 should be fine right now.
