Hi all,

I want to install a linux distro on my PS3. I prepared the hard drive and
downloaded the OS loader. When I actuallt start the install procedure
linux stalls the installation after a few minutes with the following message:

"drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: input irq status -32 received"

and this message repeats itself all over again. I tried different linux distros,
keyboards,usb sticks and mice without any success.

Anyone who can help me?

have u tried unplugging the mouse and keyboard after this message occurs?

I had this at first, you need to install a different kboot (otheros.bld)

that happened to me with an incompatible keyboard. Does unplugging ur USB devices stop the message? I finally got it to work with an alphasmart.
