Hey, I'm a brand new PS3 owner (MGS4 80G bundle w00t) and I want to install Linux to emulate classic video game systems. Which flavor of Linux would be the best for this or are they all about the same? Thanks in advance.

All linux distro run under the same platform so all distros should run all emulators(that work on ppc linux platforms) fine. I use gentoo tho because its easy to install apps and whatnot.

I use Yellow Dog Linux. There are plenty at the Yellow Dog forums on how to setup emulators on the PS3.
