Hi, I installed Ubuntu 7.10 on a friends ps3 today using the alternate cd. Since his tv is hd I installed it with the high resolution setting. Everything installed fine until reboot I noticed that the connection he used was not going higher than 480i. Since I have 7.04 on my ps3 I logged in with the blank screen just to hear it boot up at least to know it was running on the ps3. So then I reinstalled it with the lowest resolution possible. Once again everything installed correctly.
Then came time to login
. Something went wrong with the username or password because it keeps saying that username or password are incorrect.
Is there a way to change the login without having to do a full install again or am I in for another long install
?
