Ok so the ps3 does not have access to the rsx. So withoit thos is there no video playback. I want to be able to watch things on youtube. So would flash player be able to work. Also would mp4 files work.
Also if i got a ps3 with firmware below 2.1 what would be the benefits of using the rsx hack. What would be the cons of not having the latest fw version. |

The problem is that Adobe doesn't have a version of Flash for PPC Linux. There are open source alternatives but their degree of success is variable. Besides, you can watch Youtube in the PS3 browser.
