hi,
I was wondering whether it is possible to boot linux without a cd straight off the harddrive or a usb stick or usb cdrom/dvd. If the blueray drive isn't working I want to find out alternative ways of installing linux. thanks |

Try pushing tab at the kboot or yboot prompt and see if there's a USB option there. If not you're going to have to do something else. I haven't messed with k/yboot in a while (been playing around mostly with GRUB) so I don't really know what to tell you. Try the tab thing though as it toggles boot options.
