Ok, so yesterday it was announced that Google Chrome OS will be launching soon and be focused on netbooks. It's supposed to be lightweight and fast but the best part is that "The software architecture is simple — Google Chrome running within a new windowing system on top of a Linux kernel."
I use Ubuntu Intrepid right now but I was wondering if enough people requested it what are the possibilities of Google releasing a version tweaked for the PS3. An OS backed (and funded) by Google would be awesome! |

I know its wishful thinking on my part. Since Google and Microsoft are butting heads and so are Sony and Microsoft, I figure a partnership between Google and Sony would benefit them both (not to mention users as well). I'm sure if Google offers the right architecture someone will eventually compile it for the PS3.
What I would like to see is cooperation between both of companies. I just thought we should get the idea out in hopes it might reach the right people! |
