hmmmm no clue why it is not working any more then :< i have the ydl dvd tht i burnt and downloaded from same tutorial i got the otheros.bld fire from,,, and it is repeatgly coming up /dev/sr0:/ppc/ppc64/vmlinux-ps3: not found???? any clues???

ok proplem solved, fedora is installed... all i gota do now is sign in.....

but

i put in root for my local host and put in my password.... then

it just comes up (root@localhost~]#

what do i type here?

Nope... Since where locked out of the gfx card it cant load it...

i use ydl 6 has wifi in the bag and relative ease of use just google setting up repostitaries/protect base takes about 5 mins after you have installed. wifi was easy to set up just like xo cept if your wifi is wep encrypted make sure you type 0x before the key. (i think the developers like to get us involved lol)also you have to enable it each time through network options

Installed Gentoo 4 times

Followed from ps3wiki .qj. net/ index. php/ Gentoo_Howto

All i have is %@^$ken kboot prompt

startx = not found
gentoo = not found

1) Yes, I changed sda to ps3da everywhere needed
2) LiveCD works fine
3) There are no errors during, or something, when following ps3wiki how_to instructions.

i managed to peek in /etc/kboot.conf, there is only 1 line

root=LABEL=/

Can someone tell me what did i do wrong????????

ok so how do i get rid of the deleted partition for linux and get my 10 gig back to my ps3? i don't understand what its trying to say setting>system settings? then what? makes no sense.....

I cant seem to get it running.. i followed all the instructions, i formatted one partition for ps3 and one for the others and after the system resets i insert the usb stick with the ps3 folder and files on it, i hit install others, it shows up, but then i hit x and the screen goes blank, and it wont go past that.
