Default Yellow Dog: Remote Desktop?

Remote Desktop
(vncviewer)

VNC (Virtual Network Computing) software makes it possible to view and fully-interact with one computer from any other computer or mobile device anywhere on the Internet. VNC supports Linux, Windows, and OSX with remote connectivity being fully cross-platform and cross-architecture.

WAIT A MINUETE. This is an Accessory for Yellow Dog 5.0 for the PS3.

For all of you Linux-Guru's, Does this mean I can control MY HOME COMPUTER ON THE PS3 (Using Yellow Dog)?!?!?!?!?

If your answer is yes, Could I run games on the home computer, But play them and interact with them using the PS3?!?!?

yes, it allows you to control your computer,

as for games, VNC uses compression to make it faster, and games don't really work with it

By "Don't Really work with it", Do you mean "They dont work Period" or "They run slow"

It interests me a little with the possibility of PC game play (I really like City of Heroes and City of Villians). I REALLY wanna play some LEGAL Emulators from a home computer.

they don't run slow

your computer in it's current location would run it fine,

but on the PS3, through VNC, you wouldn't be able to tell what's going on, because it would only show some of the frames because it wouldn't be able to keep up

also, the response time would also suffer

PC games can't be played thru VNC. Same with videos and music. You'll have a better time when streaming the media directly.

As for everything else, VNC would be ok.
