So while this might sound new to some, it might be an known issue to experts.

I tried installing the OS last night, it did warn me that it will take aprox 2hrs. During the install, I noticed a new message on the command line while doing the initial Full install.

It's a 60GB Model, with 40GB for gaming, and 10GB OS.

I also formated my PS3 HD all the way after the failure, and it says 47/55GB ( nothing loaded on this thing, is this normal? )

the error I got during install was;

Warning:librarygc 4.3.X-X.rpm NOKEYID - and then followed by a blinkijng crusor? Is this a fault, and is this an idication that the installation has failed?

Also, I downloaded the ISO with Bittorent, and burnt on a 4x burner.

Try installing again. If it fails, it could be a problem with one of the files (FC5 DVD, Other OS Installer, kboot image)

BTW, I did notice the same Warning falg in your installation - the image you posted.

So I am assuming that this is normal?

Oh wait..It's just a warning..
In that case, it's probably normal..

Ok so I inserted my SD memory card with the otherOS software on it, then these little penguins poped up, then it just stoped and now I cant even access my PS3...I have no image on my TV I cant do anything!!! What did I do wrong!?????

Stop with all the Exclamation marks and question marks, try.

Holding the power button down for about 5 or more seconds till the PS3 resets.
If you get a command line type "boot-game-os" and hit enter

The thing is that, I dont see anything on my TV its a pure black screen.

If you have done what Granite has suggested and it hasn't worked then make your own help thread instead of continuing to bump this one.
