did nvidia ever release a driver for ppc osx? If so couldn't that be modified somehow to work with linux, even though that would be illegal.

A quick check over at nvidia's site reveals that they haven't.

too bad. Yeah i knew there weren't any on the nvidia site just thought maybe they released something at some point I didn't know about.
