I think 7 gigs.

I had a 10 gig partition, and after fedora got installed, I have only 1 gig free.

so what should i partition my hard drive to so that i have room to add alot of stuff to linux?
i have a 60 gb hard drive

probably 15 or 20Gb

A full install of fedora 5 took around 8gb.
After I uninstalled stuff I didn't want like gnome and kde, it only used around 3-4gb.

As nice as gnome and kde looks, they are quite memory intensive for a ps3 (using either of those left me with ~2mb ram free).
I installed xfce instead - which still has a nice looking interface but left me with around 70mb ram free - and a very responsive system
