Default wine on ppc(possibility?)

I found this site describing directions to get wine running on ppc. I haven't tried this myself but according to the site should be able to emulate an x86 processor and then run wine on a ppc. The link gives directions and links to the packages you need to accomplish this. Has anyone heard anything about this working, or even better is someone willing to try. I just thought i would share this with the community.

and here is the link:

wine for PPC OSX (don't know, maybe that would help, prbly not though)

I just read the first few lines and I think he/they're trying to first emulate an x86 env on the PS3 and then run Wine inside that environment.

Highly unrecommended by me, though you can try it out just for kicks

yeah they are emulating x86 to get a non ppc app running.

wonder how much lag this would cause, could help out those who are addicted to windows apps. Someone with a ps3 should check into it

Heh, you'd be better off running Windows itself through Qemu
