First, you wouldn't find this in display. I haven't personally checked this on YDL, but usually in Linux, in the system configuration, you are suppose to have something called "Screensaver". Unlike in Windows, it's not in the display settings. If there is no option like this, I don't know if this is included in.
As for why there is nothing in the display window, it's simply because we're using ps3videomode (or the special configuration of xorg) to fit with the ps3 resolutions, so, all modes are "basically said" unsupported as another configuration tool takes care of them.
