every dvd burning program i download is not recognizing my blank DVD+R's?

I think ive tried at least 10 different programs, and none are working.

all of the burning programs that i have downloaded say that they support DVD+R's

To burn DVD+R you need a DVD+R or DVD+/-R Burner, not a software. Softwares that says that they support DVD+R, that's because they support the drive. Your DVD burner is most likely DVD-R ONLY burner, so you can't burn DVD+R with it. You need to buy new DVDs, but this time DVD-R and it'll probably work.
