I have YD5 and i just cant find a way to get my sound to work...i have used HDMI, regular AV cables, even optical, and nothing works...please help me!

did u do the soundcard test at application system tool system config right
and when yor ydl 5.0 loads up it goes through a checklist does it say anything has failed?
u might have to install ydl again because it should detect your audio card
default audio card: PS3 audio device
default pcm device: SPDIF [SPDIF]
uncheckedbox Disable software mixing (dmix dsnoop)
checkedbox dynamic keys for software mixer (more secure)

it doesnt have a pcm device...does this mean i gatta reinstall it?
