i installed debian, but there is some kind of error with my sound. when i click on the sound icon at the bottom right corner of the screen a box pops up and says:

No volume control GStreamer
plugins and/or devices found.

does anyone know what this means, or how to help me?

It's basically saying that it couldn't find a sound card. I haven't checked out Debian really, give me some time or wait for someone else. :\
