Default Yellow dog Sd and hd

I have a hd tv, but I am waiting for my Hdmi cable to come so now i have to use the included cables. I want to install yellow dog but if I install it with the sd settings will it be difficult to change to hd settings when I get my cable?

Thanks

Not really. You'll have to change a couple of config files at the most.

You'll have to edit the /etc/kboot.conf file.
But if I remember correctly, YDL automatically makes entries for 1080i/p, 720p and 480i, so you'll probably have to just select the appropriate resolution while booting.

FYI, I don't think sound will work properly through HDMI, I've heard a few problems, but maybe someone else can confirm it.
