ok i am kinda familiar with linux (did psp programing so used a linux thing) ya and im famial with custum os (*psp) so im really noob with ps3... should i even atempt the linux on ps3??

It's upto you really. Read the instructions and see if you find them easy enough.

yes and no, the power is more then enough, but the ps3 is linux based, so can only be run by emulation.

wrong. if we can somehow change the kernel to PPC instead of X86, it would run natively, and perfectly.

lol to change the kernel to ppc? you would have to recompile windows xp on a ppc machine lol

somehow i really DOUBT that Microsoft would EVER release the source for windows xp lolol and let us recompile it
