nice!! downloading the skate stuntman demos now, and DMC trailer if its there! sweet!
Anyone have any ideas when Crash Bandicoot 2 will be back up?
I paid for it on PSN but I can't seem to download it or find it anywhere.
And any idea when Tekken DR Online is coming out in EU?
omg i love the new DMC wallpapers and the trailer was awsome, i cant wait, trying skate now
hows loco roco
Hey the PSN look good now ! :p
I want LocoRoco and Street fighter Puzzle HD turbo
I download now Sega Rally I give you my opinion ...coming soon :Punk:
I just keep waiting for one of these demos to include remote play :)
skate is so addicting btu so anoying lol, i like the contorls but they get so hard to use and get used to after playing that garbage tony hawk stuff
what can you do in the demo?Zitat:

LocoRoco Cocoreccho is really good! Great way to continue an original game while remaining original.
you're in a skate park type place and they give you a quick tutorial on how to do some of the stuff, then you get to just skate around and do w/e (has a 30min time limit) and theres missions and stuff to do as if it were the real game, very fun and entertaining to skate around in. i got a 6,000 point line!Zitat:

sounds good, i'll have to download it.:tup:Zitat:

Much harder to play than Tony Hawk games.. much harder..
It feels like you need 2 right thumbs because you're constantly needing to use both the right analog and the buttons for combos.
Good game though. Much better looking than Tony Hawk with a smoother, more organic feel.
Yep, I'll be getting skate for Christmas instead of THPG. It looks better and, even though it takes a little while to get used to, feels more "realistic" to play.
Tony Hawks has slipped in my opinion. Skate has that fresh feel to it. Might get it some time.
Hope they cleaned up the framerate in the final version.
Can't wait to try all these new demos once I get my PS3 sorted in my room :)
user friendly, i think its only demos that have bad framerates. i know that the stanglehol demo had bad framerates, this one goes skectchy sometimes too, not that it affects the game that much but i think its only the demo
I'm getting both. skate is too hard for my sexy thumbs (as sexy as an old, mud-ridden book). Though I like the realisticity. Is that even a word?
Realisticity? Nope. Not a correct word. "Realistic feel" is the correct term.
Anyway, it's not that hard. X to push forward, O to brake, right analog for rotations and tricks, left analog for leaning. What's so hard about that? You are not fast enough to let go of the X button and go for the analog stick or something? :p Ehh... here's a hint: Just like real skateboards, the one in Skate requires you to push only a bit. After that, you don't need to push anymore, and your thumb is free from the X button.
Buttons are good enough for me, thank you.
The only thing I liked about THPG was nail the trick.. but that's analog anyway.
Yes, I admit THPG was worse than the other TH games, but at least it's a little fun, right? The fun's decreased from THPG because of the demo. I'm sure the real game will be better... right?
THUG 1 was the best tony hawk
I agree.Zitat:

I wouldn't count on that. The previous 3 games were very disappointing to me.Zitat:

I disagree. THUG 1+2 were the worst games in the series imo (though I have't played american wasteland because I didn't care for the games anymore). THPS 3 was my favourite (before project 8). When it moved onto the next generation (PS2 :Jump: ) we got faster gameplay, better graphics and online. But most importantly it was very addictive and lots of fun. Since then nothing happened in the series before Project 8, which was amazing.Zitat:

I like Underground.. I dont think I played Underground 2 though.
I liked being able to get off the board and run around when necessary.. even though Activision sure didnt pull it off very well in terms of visuals..
If I do choose to get Skate, I think thats something I'll miss.. being able to get on foot. Being teathered to your skateboard doesnt make sense in all situations.
I wish there was a skating sim kind of thing. You skate, live, have relationships, make friends, go to school, blah blah blah. I think that kind of thing has potential. But it better not turn out to be a THPS/THUG and Brooktown High mix. Those games sucked.
THPS does not suck.
THUG 1 was the only good THUG version.
Whatever you say...
lol You skate... then you go home, study, sleep, go to school, get A's. And then you work secretly for a random day on weekend and get the cash to pay for a President's trip to Hawaii. :p Now THAT's "awesome"! lolZitat:

Yeah, that's the basic rundown of it.
Any news on whats to be on the store tomorrow? I've read the Japanese Store just got TGS videos.
We're supposedly getting a Jericho demo
Not needed. Theres, sims. Then theres skating games.Zitat:

If you want realistic skateboarding, thats challenging but satisfying, get Skate.
If your after features and are a fan of the TH series..get the PG.
Its probably the best one they've made up to now. But my monies going towards Skate.
I heard Skate is suffering from EA's ineptitude with the PS3.. running at 30FPS.
Anyone have any confirmation of this?
I simply cannot put money on such things.
Anyone know whats in tommorows updates .... i love rubbing it my mates faces when i know :p
I dont know and honestly dont care. The game looks brilliant visually. With or without 60fps.Zitat:
Zitat von coca_koehler
If any other company made it I wouldnt care.. but EA's been a little too consistent at releasing subpar content on the PS3. I paid a lot of money for better. I don't want to settle for less.
Hopefully it's good, videos don't really give me a good feeling. The first few screens we got were very impressive but after seeing some clips, I was just kind of turned off. Glad to get a chance to play it though.Zitat:
