Instead of patching every game, they should just come out with a big patch update along with 2.40FW Update.

Thank God there was a date set, now we can just "patiently wait" for 2 more days. I stayed up last night waiting for the videos at about 11:53PM (PST), I refreshed the page and saw that it was up. I was happy that Sony didn't let us down with this video walkthrough.

Well probably because any game that has that type of capability is supposed to be given a mature rating/ 16+ etc (in most countries) as it basically allows any sort of swearing, explicit language etc. If all games had this capability then they would all probably have to be rated highly.

I'm sure they could get around that by putting some way to limit the voice chat through the master/sub account system though!

tbh not something I'm too fussed about but I can see why a lot of people would want it.

Master plan? Your getting happy that Sony's doing something, a full year after they said it should happen. If i wanted to play Viva Pinata, i'd go get a 360. For now, i'll stick with MGS4 and COD4 till Resistance2/Motorstorm2 and LBP come.

anyway, u still got ripped off...

you can't disregard the fact that the ps3 already does more than what you paid for (even the 850). Blu-ray. Any other player in that price range is crap compared to the ps3. Games are a bonus... (in a sense)

You seem to think sony owe you so much for making you pay 'so much' for a games console, that they're endepted to making you happy, well theyre not, they made a games console, you bought it and play games on it, anything else is extra.

I absolutely agree with nevada. No body forces people to buy the PS3.
Sure the ps3 is expensive but isn't every game console when it's out for a year or perhaps 2?
Take the PSP for example.
Was about £200 when it first came out and now you can get a new one for £80-£100.

No its not just for Sony made games, its only some devs will be adding it in the newer games and some will be adding them if they feel like it. But sony is trying to get all devs to eventually add them to there games.

Let me clarify it more. Some game swill be supported when this trophy system is released. But it is up to the devs and time to have an update or patch to give trophy support to your game. I will bet anyone any amount of money that a lot of games that have been released in the past and are old won't have this support.

EVERY GAME WILL HAVE IN GAME SUPPORT.
What we were discussing, was about some games having trophy support.
