    This just gives me one more reason to a) hate sony and b) not to buy a ps3. By taking away a key feature like wireless (i have a massive tangling problem ;)) they are forcing me to pay 600$ something i am not prepared to EVER do. Ill just wait like i did with the xbox 1 till the price drops or, in the words of iball, "until its in the bargain bin" (i love bargain bins so much)

    I wouldn't take one retailers word as fact but this probably has something to do with the "HD ready" standards in the UK. "HD Ready" TV's must have HDMI over here and many of them don't even have component inputs, so HDMI is pretty essential for a "HD Ready" console. This might even allow them to stick on the "HD Ready" logo onto the console as well.

    It sucks how we get the raw deal yet again, with Sony rounding up the European price.

    Here in spain almost every plasma or LCD has HDMI input but i havent seen one that supports 1080p...anyone has seen those rare specimens??
