Smile [Release] PSP Software Center

Hey all,

Here is an app i cooked up. I had been waiting for something like this to show up since i got my PSP and no one seemed to get the idea so i went ahead and made it.

This is basically a one stop solution to service your PSP.

Here is the feature list:
  • Download and Install Homebrew with one click (downloads and coppies to correct folder(s) on memory stick)
  • Search through the homebrew to find the one you want
  • Download and flash themes (same as homebrew but with themes)
  • Easy for devs to submit their homebrew; select the app (as a zip), enter the title, author and website and click send

Here is what i hope to have in the future:
  • MAC Version (3 weeks till release (aprox), still under development)
  • Linux Version (NOT IN DEVELOPMENT YET; NEED HELP!!]
  • Submenu Injector (build right in, need original author's permission, don`t know if possible)
  • Ability to modify .RCO files
  • Theming support (creation of custom PSP SC Themes)
  • Much more that I'm blanking out on now...

Read more on www.pspsc.com

If you are a developer and would like to help with this project, contact the PSP-SC team: devs@pspsc.com

Well, the file isn't attaching so i have uploaded it to: www.pspsc.com/winClient.exe

File For Devs to Upload Homebrew:
www.pspsc.com/sub.exe

Hey, dow you need help developing the Mac OS X version? Are you currently using Carbon, Cocoa or a cross-platform toolkit for the windowing system? I can (probably) make a native version if I have time.

I could help, too. Jedd knows more cocoa than I do, but I'm learning.

Default re: mac

Yeah, we have one not-too-experienced MAC programmer working on the MAC version of the application. He is making progress but not fast enough. He has the interface built but hasn't started the actual programming. The mac version is probably going to be built in cocoa

email me: maniac@klmsoftware.net for more details

Eh, actually not. He just explained the process, and it goes in XML parsing and database programming. That's not exactly my 'expertise'... I'm out

It's not advance stuff, just connecting to a FTP and cycling through the directories... I just don't want to learn how to do that

Here is the .NET Framework Download Link (or you could just run Windows Update):

How about it auto-generates it? Make an array of characters....then use random indexs

We're working on it . It is harder than the mac programmer(s) thought it would be like. How do u like the windows version, though?

One Question: Who all would like to see the submenu injector built in into the PSP Software Center. Would that be better, or a PopStation Converter?

Thanks
