Very slick. Nice polish overall. Music is top notch as well. The shooting is very nice as well. Excellent game. Props to IWN and Grimfate.
My only gripe is that the controls don't feel very fluid. They're smooth...but it just feels strange. Another minor annoyance is trying to determine where an asteroid is going to be when it gets closer to you. You can use up a lot of laser charge trying to hit it, and missing. But overall, it's a top notch game. EDIT: I've found a glitch. I won't repeat how to do it, since I've been able to replicate it twice now. My ship has dissapeared, and my score just keeps going, ![]() EDIT2: Another glitch, the font in the game becomes undreadable after coming back from sleep mode. ![]() I'm the king of Space Escape.

bah, 40 mil? *gets psp* have fun playing! P.S. @ misterbeefy, could you give me any specific tips on how to improve the controls? i cant change them otherwise. and the text issue is because it screws with the CLUT (IWN's engine uses it for fonts) Hopefully, he will fix it.

I like it alot, my naem is P986 or somethin on the leader board, im like # 12 or somethin. (i never changed my PSPs nickname when i downgraded, so its not SG57). 2 gripes I have are: the controls seem much to sensitive. You can jet across the screen as if jets were on the right of your ship, not the back :S it gets much to fast. the asteroids dont even look as if there flying by you, rather just in the distnace, than in your face, than gone. maybe a limit? and when that limit is reached, to keep it interesting, add more asteroids/mines so it the difficulty doesnt plataue (did i spell that right?)

Yes, I know its pressure sensitive (if you will) but its still far too sensitive (atleast for my taste in games).
Maybe cut the sensitivity down to 1/3 of what it is. Also, as some have said, sleep mode makes 1 layer of the text printed anywhere (menu, pause, help, etc.) change to a dim (i wanna say random) color, making your eyes strain to read it. I know its been asnwered as to why it happens, im just saying its a pretty large bug (compared to others). Also, how do you make the ship disappear? Move far left or what? |
