so you load 3 images and then its out of ram... Try lua player .16.
Load the 3 images and then call print(System.getFreeMemor y()/1024/1024), it will get out of your game and tell you the approximate amount of free memory in mb's.
Usually 3 images wont take up all ram... Monopoly, with its crappy code (somewhat) loads 30+ images at the same time, and it still has ~7 megs of free ram using System.getFreeMemory()
Now i'm not sure if System.getFreeMemory() returns accurate results or not... but hey its what we got to work with.
