Default i'm trying to learn how doom was made for psp....

Right....i understand some of the files are identical to the files used on the pc but, now how was it done step by step? i'm looking into making eboot.pbp files....to be honest i'm working on duke nukem 3d....and this is my way of finding out how....and i was wondering if anyone could help me get started with this one....i just want to learn how to program it to work on the psp....thanks.

I'm pretty sure he meant that he was looking for how a port to PSP works, not just basic programming.

I'm actually curious myself, but you might have to ask lantus himself how he did it. A port is basically taking the sourcecode, compiling, fixing errors, compiling... until you get 0 errors. You'll need to make an interface as well that the PSP can display. It's more complicated that that, but that's the jist of it...

I've never ported anything myself (gave up on a KI emulator for xbox). I'll just stick to homebrew for now.

Good luck on your port, although I have a feeling you'll get frustrated easily if it's your first project...
