i will be finishing this real soon:

im thinking about adding more maps...
i could speed up the tanks to thats no prob
and if by different weapons you mean like being able to chose between diferent vehicles i.e. tank,jeep,jet, etc. i might add that in

when I get that it's usually because I've made an error in the way that I called one of the lua player's built-in functions

what i was trying to do was make afunction to make th health of the player go down when he is hit with the bullet of the opposing player and i keep getting loop in gettable

here's the problem - going by the full script in your release, "player" is an image, and "Player" as your table, so trying to use "player.health is probably what's causing the trouble - try using "Player.health" instead

In fact, it would probably be best if you only have the one "Player" as a table, and load your image into it as "Player.img = Image.load("images/player1.png")"

the only other thing I can think of is to make sure that the table you are passing to the function has all the elements that you are trying to access from inside the function

ok i got the colision to work but when the bullet hits the tank it goes to an error saying attemp to perform arithmatic on field 'x' (a nil value)
