[Release] Remote Joy SDL for PSP by TyRaNiD PSP Video In a Window

Hi,

I managed to load my homebrew for testing from hostfs (needed to put the app in game150 as suggested by Mr305) and to have a window on the PC to see it running. That's fine, but when I want to test again, I type "reset" and the psp just shuts down after 5s.
So, how can I unload/reload my recompiled app without loosing remoteJoy's link and continue testing again and again?
I'm new to this I just started to use psplink a couple hours ago.

But anyway, really nice thing. I'm going to test this with a game when I have time!

For ALL PSP TA-082, I hear you.

I have one and it took me three hours to realize that I would have to do a lot of work to get this damn 'hack' working on my TA-082 PSP. I checked the forums and your inquiries about being unable to install a driver is completely ignored... basically nobody cares... and this is very frustrating. Some community we have in here huh...

Anyway... from what I figured TA-082 with OE firmware have keys or id's that are ruined which also ruins some PSP key features for example the USBHOST. So if you have a TA-082 and you have downgraded to 1.5 then upgraded to a higher version - the chances are your keys or id's are ruined which had your USBHOST most likely ruined also.

From my extensive research there are software out there that allows you to fix your keys or id but unfortunately you need a working dump of these id's or keys preferrably from an original unchanged TA-082 before you can use them - so in conclusion - tough luck.

With deranged desperation coupled with lack of sleep I managed to find a USBHOST driver that did worked and was picked up by my computer. I was able to get my computer recognize PSP as Type B with SONY as the manufacturer just as Schrades tutorial asked for. Now the problem is that I COULD NOT GET IT TO CONNECT WITH Tyranid 2007 USBHOSTFS. And the weirdest part is that I was able to connect with Tyranid 2006 version.

Now the main problem is that RemoteJoy and PSPSH could not work with Tyranid 2006.

Anyway... I'm begging here if anyone could shed light to this very frustrating business. Im angry because Im tired of looking for a solution. I would really appreciate it if someone could help. Hopefully this wont be ignored like ALL OTHER inquiries out there. Im sooooo close to the door I just couldnt find that damn key. Cheers.

i DID everything it says in readme , the msdos screen shows me READY everything loads well but the /&$() FPS screen shows me nothing !!!!!!!!!!!! AHHH HELP

When it was supposed to be: ldstart flash0:/vsh/module/vshmain.prx

is it possible that i dont have that file in flash0? lol i just looked through File Assisstant

edit. %loadjoy does work
%loadvsh - it disconnects usb and shuts off psp o_O

this isnt working at all for me i have everything installed and it says connected but the PSPSH.EXE does nothing when i do %loadVSH

when you enter this cmd, your psp should reset and go to the vsh, whenit is full charged, type %loadjoy.

Ok i think i just found something taht 'll help many people experiencing a simply black screen on their PC while trying to display a game and probably VSH !
Simply press F4 twice ! it will refresh the screen
If you have only a black screen then i advise you to try my method




I tested on Pursuit force and POP, it hangs up during loading :'(

I always start with black screen, and I have to press F5 to see something.
Also, if it lags alot like on my PC, just put the usbhostfs_pc process to high priority, it worked amazingly well for me.
Too bad all the games I've tested make that crash when trying to load/save.

woot ive downloaded program which records pc screen and it can even record selected area...so i chose 480x272 .... its perfect! only problem is that 1 min 14 secs = 93 MB! o_O but its brilliant quality

Convert your HB to 1.0 "format" and load them under 3.40 kernel => it will load the GAME plugin.

EDIT : OK i just made a quick .bat file to run everything much simply it's not much but it is a lot more convenient to use !!!
Instructions^^ : put this .bat :http://maxijac.free.fr/ToutLancer.bat inside your Remotejoy folder, near other.bat files.
Now boot your GAME ( UMD / ISO / kernel3.40 HB), when it is fully loaded, simply launch my .bat, it will go directly to fullscreen, if it is still completely black press F4 twice.

If you want to change screenmode, simply edit my .bat, and change the file call.

It freezes whenever I boot FFT Lion War or PoP Rival Swords T_T It freezes at the savedata loading screen in PoP

Thats because as TyRaNiD said It will freeze when a game tries to load saves a certain way. wipeout and r&c dont work because of that.

wipeout works for me pity i have usb 1.0 on this pc will try laptop l8r....
socom 2 looks lovely yippeeeeeee.........
when u r at the save screen remove usb cable then when save is over put usb cable back in and it will be back to normal..... or vice versa if u r gonna load a save remove usb then replace when loaded save is done and game will appear on your screen.....

if u have usb 1.0 connect or have slow frame rate in general just go to task manager and turn off some of the background programs u r not using to get better speed b careful though and know what programs u r turning off.....

finally i got it to work in XMB:

1st prob: i had PSP Link in PSP/GAME folder but i didnt know that it must be set to 3.40 Kernel ..... -_- so i copied it to PSP/GAME340/

2nd prob: i was getting error with loading modules... thats coz 3.40 HB loads GAME.txt plugins so i had to disable them... after this it works
