for the driver I let windows find it himself, I included the folder in the search that's all. and it works good, I can see the psp's screen on pc and control it with my joypad, as expected.

-= Double Post =- -- I found something interesting here (maybe?) it says something about different drivers for ta-82 users: http://www.pspgen.com/modules.php?na...ticle&sid=2921 it's in french but look for this: "USBHost + Drivers" (ctrl+f). If you're asking if RemoteJoy supports sound, no it does not. But that's not necessary because you can just pipe your PSP's sound output right into your PC's Line In if you want to record it. |

So I'm guessing this jams the psp when it tries to log online right, seems like no one's talked about this in the thread yet, just wanted a strait answer so I wont become such a huge noob trying to make it work in a way it's not supposed to.
EDIT: I got it to work under wifi, but as yolarry said it's not nativly supported. I had to load up my game entirely and once I was online in socom I hooked up my usb cabe and loaded up usbhost then remote joy skipping the pspsh part and pressing F3 to refresh the screen. Works great though going to record some pwnage on Socom and show off some skill. Thanks for the great app. Last edited by caldiablo408; 05-16-2007 at 05:01 PM.. |

1) Make sure your PSP is connected to your computer via a USB cable. 2) Make sure that you do not already have the PSP device detected and bad in your Device Manager. Check by going to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager. Look for devices with the yellow warning sign on them. Remember to show hidden devices by going to View -> Show Hidden Devices. If you have some broken devices listed there that you think is the PSP, highlight it and then DELETE it or right click on it and Uninstall it. 3) Turn on your PSP and then run PSP Link 3.0 OE. Your computer should do the little USB detection beep and you should get your prompt to install the drivers. ***** You MUST make sure that your IDStorage keys are not messed up if you have a TA-082/086 motherboard! To check if your keys are correct, visit the KeyCleaner thread on MaxConsole. I've linked to it in the ReadMe-LibUSB.txt documentation file. ***** |

Is there any further development on RemoteJoySDL by TyRaNiD? (anyone can contact the author?) I enjoy using it a lot however I play PSP online through kai mostly. RemoteJoySDL will not work with most of the gamesafter switch to wifi mode. Even it works by plugging the USB cable after loaded the game, it will hang at the end especially when trying to save. So if multiplay with others, you can only play one single game and then restart your PSP (with saving the progress....)
Now only this is missed. Other works perfect (of it is of course even better by increase the supporting games :-) ) Thanks! |
