Couldn't find anything on search.. I'm trying to compile code on OSX. I got Xtools and the PSPSDK for OSX (found on google). How would I set up the Makefile to compile properly? Any other hints to help me get compiling?

I suggest reading this: Preparing Mac OS X for PSP-SDK

yeah I went that route instead right before I read your post. Thanks, though.
I'm all compiled now and trying to run using Homebrew PSP Converter (for os X) but it doesn't want to transfer... Is there any documentation anywhere on how the 1.5 no swap exploit works? Can I edit the files myself without using another program to make it run (make the EBOOT's and directory/directory% folders?) Any help is appreciated. |

Indeed, there is. Read the "ReadMe" that comes with the official download of Kxploit, the PDF. It contains intstructions on how to go about the exploit manually.

Awesome. I hadn't downloaded it since it was Windows only. Didn't think it'd be much help for me.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions, I see there's A LOT of dumb ones out there and I promise I'm not going to turn into one of them I'm just needing a bit of help to get started...While I'm on the help subject, any PBPUnpacker software for OS X? My only computer right now is my laptop (in the process of upgrading) and want to play around with changing the icon of my homebrew test file... |

yeah it's about to finish installing windows xp in virtual PC 7.
I like this PSP programming idea, it seems A LOT easier to init a screen (unlike xbox, where it's like 7 pages of code to get "hello world" on screen... (i gave up after initializing controller input..) If I can get these utilities working and get my test code working, I should have a basic proof-of-concept of my game running tonight... Been needing to master C anyways (I come from JAVA background) |
