Holy smokes thats awsome! so what about SDL_Net and other libraries? will those work? This is a big plus if i want to learn SDL. Thank you.

I can't seem to find anything on their site about it :S does anyone mind linkfying me to get SDL working with cygwin.
hey man look around in the SVN server... I'm currently using the PNG libraries and SDL_TTF for fonts because they're both in the PSP SVN. If something goes wrong when I'm running it all on PSP I'll have to change what libraries I use, but I assume if they're in there, they can work!
(I'll be running this build on PSP this weekend most likely... I have map scrolling done, animation, collision and I started my dialogue tonight!)

Great job framerate, your doing amazing i cant wait to download it :)
I've made phenomenal progress this week. The game now runs fluidly on PSP (with minimal issues).
I'll be making a youtube video of the "work-in-progress" this weekend to show you guys where I'm at.
just thought I'd drop in and apologize for not releasing any more of this engine, for the people who were supportive.
Honestly, I just got sick of the kids and bad attitudes around these forums and the PSP scene in general. Theres a lot of bad attitudes and very unappreciative leeches around these parts. Perhaps it's gotten better in my absence but I doubt it.
On that note, I never gave up working on this project. I renamed the project and reworked a bit of code and am continuing it all to run on other platforms (although still using SDL, PSP is still a possibility).
I got a full job working on an MMORPG so most of my time is spent working on code for that, but I return to my RPG engine on occasion as it was my first love.
Perhaps you'll me around these parts more often some day, as I'd love to get some real feedback on my next preview release (if there is one). But at this time I prefer to keep all my work and development internal, as it should have been in the first place.
Thanks for putting up with the rocky road to my first preview, and I'll check in soon.
And please, be nicer to the real devs around here. Don't chase them all away.
