I mean the recovery mode of the OE firmware. (By holding R while the PSP is starting). After doing this you will need to put your 3.40 eboots in GAME340

This is a discussion on [RELEASE] XMB Theme Cycler/Manager v0.5 within the PSP Development Forum forums, part of the PSP Development, Hacks, and Homebrew category; choji: I mean the recovery mode of the OE firmware. (By holding R while the PSP is starting). After doing ...
That's what I meant. After I enter recovery mode, I try to enter the configuration mode but the screen will stay the same color as the background and then after about 5 seconds it'll shut off the psp.
The configuration mode is the only mode I can't seem to access, all the other categories seem to work for me. So do you know what the problem is? maybe I flashed something I wasn't supposed to in the flash0 folder.
Hi, well it appears you are not the only one, but i don't know what is happening. I think it's an 3.40 OE bug but i don't really know, i suggest you to reflash the Custom Firmware for now.
Also maybe deleting all Flash1 (i said flash 1 not 0) over USB will restore the recovery setting, but i don't know if that could fix it
yeah, I just read on another thread that I should delete my Flash1 folder and I did, and now I can access the configuration mode but now it's pointless since I just semi-bricked my psp but thanks for all the help. Can't wait to try the application once I unbrick my psp.

I need help ( and now i become a top one newbie in the world) i installed on my white psp 3.40 OE the theme manager and choose one theme (liquid psp theme)
it work fine
so i choose the green dokie and restart my psp , but after sony login screen , the white window without nothing appears and everything stopped
i´m very , very sad because i had psp black who been stolen and this is a brand new one who i take it last week , its possible in some way to return to original flash program (some special backup button or something?)
Wow it doesnt take a genius use recovery :ROFL:Originally Posted by cadudatoro
Hmm i seem to be having a problem. The themes don't cycle whenever i reboot my psp. i already went into the configuration mode and set it to "normal". im assuming this is the setting that cycles the themes every reboot. And also the auto run feature for 3.40 OE A is also enabled, but it seems to me that it doesn't run it. But when i run from the memory stick within my XMB, then it returns to the XMB with the next theme cycled (which leads me to believe that the normal mode works, its just not auto running).
So it flashes everytime you change themes? That's spooky.
I tried the Theme Cycler, but I didn't know what to do with it :P Just read the first post and I sort of understand it. I do, however, have a question. Is there a way to change your theme via the progra without flashing, or do you have to flash the theme and paste the files in the vsh/resource and font folders? Will look at the readme for me advice.
The program flashes all the files for you. And if you don't want it to flash every time, i will release a new version using CXMB (If you don't know what it is, is a plugin for OE that redirects all the theme files to memory stick).Originally Posted by UnknownFear
Ah. So you mean, once I open the program, select the theme I want and hit the flash button, once it flashes all the files and I exit the program and do a full restart of the PSP, it should display the theme?Originally Posted by luizlizard
Alright. Thanks for the help man.Originally Posted by luizlizard
First things first, I love this program. I think its about the only homebrew thats lasted more than 1 week without getting deleted from my psp because this one is actually 100% useful. Im really looking forward to a new update that has even more bells and whistles to compliment its already unbelievably practical design.
Anyways to the point. I've got a few questions about the program. Ive already been through all the "modes" offered and so far I've taken more to automatic cycler after each cold boot. However I've noticed that the "skip to <x>" theme option isnt completely working or maybe I'm just doing something wrong. I've got about 35 themes queued in my theme folder so as you can imagine going through each theme one by one, hard ressetting 30+ times to get to that one theme (assuming im not in manager mode) can be a real pain in the butt. When I try to change the "skip to <x>" theme to lets say...20, It doesnt let me go past 5ish. It just gets stopped there and if i press X again it goes back to 2. I was wondering if you could clear this up for me.
(note: only manager registers the 35 themes that i have, the autocycler configuration menu does not. I do not know why)
(I tried to pm this but it never registered as sent so i figured it wouldnt hurt to post it here instead)
can this work on custom firmware 3.52 M33??????????????
I don't see why it wouldn't work in 3.52M33.This program is designed to work in 3.30/3.40 OE firmware and
actually its not working for me in 3.52M33, i flash a theme exit the program and nothing happens. Doesnt do anything at all
IT WAS MADE FOR 3.30/3.40 NOT 3.10!---------------------
This program is designed to work in 3.30/3.40 OE firmware and
above, i held no responsability if this program bricks your
psp (almost impossible in OE).
