Hi, say hello to version v0.5 with theme manager, and an easier way to adding themes (now you can just throw the theme with any name you want in ms0:/themes)

To create screenshots for your themes:
--Take the screenshot of the theme
--Open it with paint and click Image then Resize/Skew
--In there set to resize both horizontal and vertical to 70%, click OK
--Then click File then Save As, and save it as a PNG
--Then place that file as screenshot.png in the theme's folder

This program is designed to work in 3.30/3.40 OE firmware and
above, i held no responsability if this program bricks your
psp (almost impossible in OE).

This program will change your theme everytime you reboot your
psp, it has unlimited slots for themes. It can handle all the
rco's that can be modified up to now (Please tell me if i'm
missing any and i will add support for it). It now also includes
a new theme manager to flash manually your themes if you don't
want to use the cycler. (It doesn't need the theme folders to
be named in a particular way, so you can just throw your themes
to the themes folder)
Installation:
1-Copy all the folders to the root of your memory stick, if
you have any other program in /PSP/GAME/BOOT it will be
overwritten. If you install it in another folder other
than /PSP/GAME/BOOT such as /PSP/GAME150/BOOT and enable
the autorun feature, you will not be able to get in the XMB
and your PSP will freeze.

-JUST COPY THE CONTENTS OF THIS ZIP TO THE ROOT OF YOUR
MEM STICK.
2-To set it to change your XMB every time the PSP reboots go
to recovery mode and enable the Autorun feature.
Instructions:
--By default this program will start in the manager mode.
--Hold L button at startup to abort flashing.
--Hold O button at startup to enter configuration.
--In configuration use X to select and up down keys to
navigate.
--Everytime you boot your PSP or every month (depending on your
setting) a new theme will be flashed.
--To put your own themes simply throw the theme in a folder with
the theme's name to ms0:/themes/ (it can't be easier)

--IMPORTANT:
In ms0:/themes/ there should be no folders other than
the ones wich correspond to your themes.

IMPORTANT:
-- In my past releases i received alot of complaints about why i didn't include the original sony files. I don't include them because it's illegal to do so, you have to get them by yourself, or if you run theme cycler with the original theme installed, it will make a backup of it.

-- If you have 3.40 then you need themes for 3.40, if you use one for another version it WILL NOT work.

-- You need to know the basics of flashing before using any flashing progams. Also, learn how to use the recovery mode before flashing anything.

-- To fix a semi-brick goto recovery mode and enable auto-boot. Reboot PSP and hold O, the configuration mode will load, then press "flash backup theme" and voila semi-brick fixed!

-- The README file is your friend, take a look at it before using.

-- if you want both autorun and the manual Cycle Theme function you need to set the 1.5 kernel to GAME since the boot folder has to be strictly at GAME, not GAME150.

-- DO NOT RENAME THE BOOT FOLDER, AND IT SHOULD BE LOCATED IN THE GAME FOLDER, NOT GAME150, NOT GAME340, IF YOUR ARE GOING TO USE AUTOBOOT.

i put a theme folder in the 'theme' folder and when i run the app, it doesnt find it. i rescan and still nothing. it just finds the 4 default themes.

yeah thats how i set it up. your app recognizes the themes since it tells me the correct number themes that i have in the folder on the lower left corner. its says 4 themes, but when i try to select a theme to flash, it only has 2 of the 4 themes even after i rescan.

oh and those 4 themes that i have, only 1 is from the original 4 that came with the app. the other 3 themes are mine.

i cannot reproduce your problem, can you tell me how you structured your themes? for example:
ms0:/themes/
--theme1/
--topmenu...

The most probable reason is that you are not placing the theme files in the right place

my file structure is like:
ms0:/themes/naruto/ and then the customize files. they are all like that

ive been experimenting and added the 4 default themes and my 3 themes and when i did that, my 3 themes showed up and 2 of the 4 default themes showed up. so 5 out of 7 showed up. i can see that it knows that there are 7 themes in there bcuhs its says 7 themes in the lower left corner, but i can only select the 5 themes, a ._.DS_Store file, and a .DS_Store file. quite odd.

could you upload it because i have over 66 themes and it all works fine for me..

Oh, now i see the problem, there are hidden folders wich you need to delete, let me edit the code to omit those folders, i will have it tomorrow. I didn't took those in account because i don't work with mac's

this application is awsome - i use it for 3.40 OE-A - its great getting a new theme whenever i turn on

Hi, i see most of you are using the Theme Manager function so i'm gonna also release a Theme Manager only version for those who can't install the Theme Cycler (because of the requirement to change to FW 1.5 in recovery, and the autoboot). This new release can be installed like any other homebrew.

quick question

if i only put 1 rco in a theme folder it will still flash right. So if i just want to change the topmenu, i dont need to put all the other files in it just topmenu_plugin.rco, right??

I can't seem to get this to run. I currently have the 3.40 OE-A and put all the folders in the correct place but when i try to run the program it gives me a "this game could not be started" error. Am I doing something wrong?

yes but if you customized the colume bar, battery, etc before you flash that new theme, those things will still be there.

Are you sure you changed the kernel to 1.5, it seems i forgot to put that in the readme, sorry.
You can change it by running Recovery Mode, then in configuration select the 1.5 kernel.

hmm.. I would do that except for some reason I can't enter the configuration mode. The screen will stay blank and then it'll shut off after a few seconds. I think i might've flashed something i wasn't supposed to. Any idea what the problem is?
