Default Question with loadImage in graphics.c

the max width and height of a png image you can load is 512. I have a bigger image so my question is, can I raise the max width and height values? Will it just crash the psp?

I thought the 512x512 limit was only for lua?

Correct me if I'm wrong.

nope, the limit is in C as well, (at least with Graphics.h)
any image bigger, probably takes a toll on the ram, i suggest cutting the image into smoller parts

First off, Lua Player uses Graphics.c.
Second off, there is no limit to loading an image (I've loaded 2000x2000 before), HOWEVER, the GU limits you to a maximum of 512x512 texture size. So either resize the file, resize the texture in software, automatically split the image into pieces, or write your own blit function.

I split the image to pieces then used algorithms to piece it together during blitting.
