![]() Hi there.. i was learning how to code on lua.. and made some test.. but i finaly decide to make a real game.. i decide to work on a GW clone. that i call Polygun Wars... soo its a very very fisrt stage.. current Vercion 0.1 things that i have done until now: particle system. enemy system. bullet system. mesh system. hero gameplay. thigs left: Menu title screen.. live and boom count.. more enemys types.. score control.. clear the unless code (optimise) and some more things.. downloat it : Polygun Wars by AHRIMANES |

It's a clone of Geo Wars made in C/C++ Keep up the development of your version though! Try to do something innovative to separate yourself from trig wars. |

its pretty good for a first project and it isnt another zelda or mario clone. lol
i remember a whole bunch of crappy first lua projects, its nice to see a promising one. and if i may make a suggestion, fire rate is too fast and enemies are too slow.

jeje remember its a half of beta :P for shure the enemys will be more competitives, and the gun will be upgraded and stuff like that.. as the clasic shooters always bee.
Hard Drive: well i think i will have some new enemys.. and stuff... im not in a buble, i already knew about trig wars... but it feelss more like asteroids instead of GW isnt it?.. no ofence to his dev..mmm i decide to take out all the lua juice to make somthing like this.. its true im having troubles causes lua's speed but isnt the task of a coder to optimise and come to godd thigs from low resources? so im making an effort to make this good... i know c++ coding. but for me its kind fun to learn new languages.. for shure i will prefer to code in c++.. som day i will do something in there.... by now .. still learning more about lua... cya the next upt date. by the way thanks you all guys. and thanks to this forums has come of big help. |

i am having this proyect slow, as i dont have my Pc at home. i mean.. im out of my home land. and have no pc here. i hope soon i will get a new monster pc and speed up this proyect.... until now i was coding on psp and some time in job pc . just when there is really some free time.
