introducing the most realistic myspace simulater ever!

MYSPACE THE GAME

the rules are simple:

1. Log in
2. Try to stay logged in as long as possible

You may think that this sounds easy, but remember this game is EXACTLY like a true myspace experience, in other words its extremely annoying to use, thats right you won't even be able to do anything because of all the ads and popups, so you have to try and close the ads before you run out of patience and log out

here are screenies:

a typical day in myspace notice the ads telling of of free pron among other things.

a typical myspace error code.

lol this is so realistic when i was beta testing it i had people seeing me play it and asking "hey are you on myspace?"

anyway, im sure ive infringed some copy rights but its a work of satire and the game contains a disclaimer (in the game itself)

oh, by the way this is a mod of another game and i did no original coding, but all the original resources are pretty much replaced, in such a fashion that it is nothing like the original. kudos to whoever can guess what game its a mod of.

some one tip front page please as they won't except news tips from me.

lol, i do use that, but most people that use myspace are total n00bz that use IE (you will even notice that the address bar and junk are designed based on IE 7

for some reason sendspace always dies mid upload,

im on dialup after all,

anyway, i only used paint for the clicker hand and pointer

everything else is photoshop or a modified screenshot,

and for somereason i had to make the pause screen that annoying brown color it is, cuz it wouldn't work with gray or white (i have no idea why!)

if you don't have a good blocker yes,

it has phising and spyware to

and flashy, loud, and annoying banner ads

it flippin sucks,

not only that but you constantly get this error message

"an unexpected error has uccured and has been forwarded to myspace's technical team"

i looked at the code for it one day, no message is forwarded!

lol, i made the gun transparent, and number of other things that have no need in a gui game transparent, and changed the crosshair to a clicker, that turns into a hand when you highlight a popup (instead of a red crosshair)

when i played COD 2 psp the first time i immediatly thought, "wow, this is a great engine to make a 2d interface game."

lol, i tried to mess with the code to remove reloading, but im too much of a n00b to get it to work properly once i removed the code for it (i found the reloading function)

Yes, good idea. A "game" that was coded by SOMEONE ELSE, while the author attempted to take full credit for while he only changed around some graphics and maybe some code, should definitely be praised.
