Default [Release]PSPXT 1.50

Here is 1.50 of PSPXT! There are not many changes except the new interface. A lot of people have said that they don't like the graphics, if this is the case for you and you want to make your own graphics, I can send you some PhotoShop templates for this program. Anyways the changes from 1.00 FULL to 1.50 are:

-Created a entirely new layout
-Created pop-up functions when selecting a menu option
-Made interface easier to control (No more double checking, most options are mouse clickable)
-Controls are now mapped out on each XMB preview
-Added volume bar support for Full XMB Navigation One
-Brighter Text

The program is basically the same as before, but with a new interface. Please make sure to read the README, and if you have suggestions please let me know about them. Also, this program can access your Flash0, you take all responsibility if this program damages your PSP (Flashing only occurs in the File Flasher, however).

I'll be busy for a bit so I am going to halt development on this project until at least July (Or a Month from this posting). I'll continue to add features and more icon support. I'll also focus more on getting sounds supported as well.

About
************************* ************************* ************************* ***************

This is an application that will simulate how your XMB will look on your computer before actually compiling your RCO's and flashing them to your PSP. This application will let you view your XMB and its icons, backgrounds and colours. This application is meant to help you preview your XMB without actually flashing it, and NOT to help you preview already created themes!! With that said this program doesn't even read your Flash0 (Unless your using the File Flasher) and doesn't need your PSP to run (Again unless you are using the File Flasher. This program will not read RCO's or have any PRX support, it will read BMP images and will arrange them so they look just like your XMB.

Anybody who wants source code for this application is asked please contact me and I'll send you the code. You should know how to program and analyze Turing code. Contact info can be found in the program.

Instructions
************************* ************************* ************************* ****************

There are two versions of this program, a Non-Integrated version and an integrated version. The Integrated version will integrate this application into your computer (Adding it to your hard drive and adding short cuts in your start menu and desktop). The Non-Integrated version will run by extracting the files to a folder and running PSPXT.EXE.

With that said, pick the version you want to use:

Integrated:
1- Run PSPXT (Integrated).EXE and follow the on-screen instructions
2- Go into your start menu-->All Programs or find the short cut on your Desktop and open the short cut.

Non-Integrated:
1- Extract the ZIP or RAR (Depending on which archive you downloaded) to any folder on your hard drive.
2- Run PSPXT (PlayStation Portable XMB Tester).EXE

************************* ************************* ************************* **********
Future Features
************************* ************************* ************************* **********

In the future I will be including more features. The features I hope to include:

-File check/Size check- This will help you make right sized icons so that you can make non-corrupt files and have icons fit in their positions. (Definitely)
-Support for XMB click sounds (Depends on whether I can extract and convert sounds for play)
-Support for wave animation (This one is going to be hard..If I can extract, convert and then play the waves this will be done)
-Include a RCO compiler (This is a feature that will come, as soon as I can write the script for the compiler)
-Ability to detect, or select your PSP's drive by a simple explorer window. (Hopefully)
-Integrate icon guides (Definite)
-Implement any other icon/sets of icons, like the volume bar, battery, loading icon etc. (Depending what everyone wants the program to have)
-Hopefully any requested or suggested features (Probably, depending on the feature)

************************* ************************* ************************* **************
Important Notes
************************* ************************* ************************* **************

-EXE's shouldn't be moved around. The program is designed to work in the configuration that it is in.
-The "Flasher" folder should stay where it is if you want to use the File Flasher.
-The XMB One, XMB Two, XMB Three, and XMB Four folders should not be deleted. However if they are deleted the program will read out of the XMB Default folder.
-The "Transparencies.txt" in each XMB folder should not be deleted, if one is deleted re-make the file but DON'T write anything in it.
-Transparencies should be set using the program. If you try to set the transparencies manually the file will become corrupt and unreadable by PSPXT.
-Images must be in the 8-bit bitmap format. Images with their information stored in the ALPHA layer should not be used with this program. Files extracted from RCO's will not work properly with this version of the program.

************************* ************************* ************************* *************
Problems
************************* ************************* ************************* *************
-When loading options it's a bit slow for me, please tell me if this is the case for you as well
-XMB navigation is a bit slow with the new layout/interface, it may be my computer but I'm not to sure.
