Default Stackless Python 2.4.4 for PSP - Ogg/Mp3/SSL support

As some people knows, I created a port of Stackless Python to PSP... it is based on Jerome´s work on the Python port.

The full post can be seen in my blog: http://themindcaster.blogspot.com/20...-sony-psp.html

I also created a small tutorial based on a tutorial created by Sakya.

The example is very simple, there is a player agent and a "computer driven" NPC agent. Both can run around the screen.

The point here is to demonstrate the functionality of Stackless and the ease it allows on development for Agent based applications.

The tutorial is in: http://themindcaster.blogspot.com/20...al-part-1.html

In the newest version of it, I have added OGG, MP3 and SSL support

Check it out here: http://themindcaster.blogspot.com/20...-progress.html

Please, as soon as you have any feedback, report to me either here on forums or via email.

Hey carlosedp, this looks very interesting! I know almost next to nothing about Python. Can you tell us what advantages it has over, say, C/C++ or Lua? What kind of capabilities do we have with this?

Very nice. I hope that many use this to the fullest capabilities. Python is a scripting language like Lua but more 'feature packed'. It supports OO much more natively then Lua but also retains all the features of a high level language such as memory management/garbage collection.

IMO, Python is much more easier to learn then C++ and more feature rich then Lua.
