Talking [RELEASE]Snes9xTYL++Beta quick save state and autofire patch

Hello everyone!

First at all, I want to thanks to YoyoFR and Laxer3a (Snes9x Tyl original
main coders) for their excellent work and make it public available.
Also I want to thanks Ruka for his fix to save states in ME version.

This patch to Ruka's Snes9xTYL++ adds two (possibly useful) features:

1) Quick save state [press RTRIGGER + SELECT] and
quick load state[ RTRIGGER + START]

2) Auto-fire [Available in CONTROLS main menu]

Sounds sweet, will try it out later.

I don't suppose I could get so lucky as quick save would be set to the L trigger and Select and quick load would be R and Select, or instructions on how I might go about doing that.

Its a limitation of Kernel mode.

i grabbed this version and i must admit that isn't bad at all..
the number in the left corner was removed and the emu run smooth as rukas one
lovely..
i think i'll play a couple of game with this while waitin' for official release

Um... how is one supposed to use this patch if the emu that needs to be patched Ruka said he didnt wanted it to be distributed? Where can I find Rukas version of this emu???.

Also, does this fix the no sound on savestates loading?? . Thanks in advance!

Its an eboot.

And it obviously fixes that problem since it says so.

Taken from the front page post by God knows who:

A patch was rolled out by davex, the same coder who did a number on CPS1PSP a few months ago. This patch builds on Ruka's recent release, so you better get that first before you decide to go any further.

Ok, now that this has been cleared , so who is liying here? Front page or Mister Chief??

PD: Now that I have downloaded this, I see it is an Eboot, but this Eboot goes with the other files that came with Rukas build as stated on the front page, so where do I get the other files? If someone has them plss tell me on a PM, Thanks!

I'm not sure if I completely understand how to actually apply the patch. I tried to overwrite both eboots, but it makes 2 options to start the emulator, neither of which work. Can someone please explain to me how to apply the patch/get Ruka's eboot working?

Download Rukas latest build here:

And replace the eboot with the one from this thread.

The reason some people are having trouble is because the EBOOT.PBP is designed for 1.0 not 1.5, so you need to convert the EBOOT.PBP to 1.5.

There's a tutorial at http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=421901
for doing this, which I recommend reading, since it shows you how to change any 1.0 EBOOT.PBP into a 1.5 EBOOT.PBP.

Here's a link, though, if you want it prepatched and converted to 1.5. http://depositfiles.com/files/1381964
