Unhappy backing up files and adding own menu items

hi ive been struggling with the same thin for about two weeks as i started coding my prodject then i would like to know how to add a custom item to a menu list e.g.

refresh my program
back to main menu
mem stick folder
mem stick folder
mem stick folder
mem stick folder
mem stick folder
mem stick folder
e.t.c.

and also how do i coppy files from anywhere preferably flash0 to a directory of my choice i.e. for backup option

To copy a file from flash0 to ms0 just look at the example that SG57 did for his LuaPlayer with flash. He made an example that backups a file before you flash it.

Why don't you do some research in FileIO?
http://www.lua.org/manual/5.1/
Read the whole page to get a better understanding on LUA.

+ Open Directory
+ Create Directory In Destination Directory
+ Get File List
+ - + If Current entry is a file, copy it.
+ - + Else, it is a directory, start at step 1 With This Directory.
+ Done.
