I'm wondering if someone can provide specific details on exactly how the encryption on the PSP works. I'm fairly new to the world of PSPs, but a veteran to the world of modding. I think I may have a few ideas up my sleeve, but need some more details on the functionality. Any and all details anyone can provide related to this owuld be greatly appeciated.. (ie. Encryption type: AES? At what level: 64, 128, 256 bit encryption? How does the PSP handle it? It doesn't actually encrypt anything, but only READS encrypted code for the firmware correct? If so, where has the firmware source come from? Exactly how and when does the unit verify encryption? If I feed it something will it BROADCAST a returned encrypted response for comparison?) I don't know if anyone knows any answers to any of this stuff, but like I said, I have a few ideas I'm trying to sort out and credit or discredit, but it'll require a lot of information on the functionalty/architecture/etc... of the system to see of any of them are actually of any worth. If you have any information you feel may be relevant, please share. Thanks!!
