Thumbs up [WIP] Vertex Racing - New screenshots

Hey guys !

its been a while since the last WIP update... and well... the time has finally arrived. With updated... EVERYTHING ! the game is looking much more complete that it ever has.

We are still working on it very hard. The Rendering engine has been improved. (see the screenshots). Also working on car's physics engine and multiplayer module. A Release (and its download ) will be available soon.

So, we are proud to let you look at these new screenshots... Constructive criticism is ALWAYS welcome...

Wow. Just.... Wow.
That looks superb!

EDIT: I'm sure that map is from a Need for Speed game... I remember playing it on my PC. Not that it's a bad thing.

Ah right, that would explain it then!
You're doing an amazing (felt it needed to be bolded) job. I've never seen something so good made for free! On the PSP that is.

It's the ambient light wanted by Jeff (the designer) and may need some more lighting improvements .. but .. it seems that he wanted this as it looks like on the screenshots

this wip has always amazed me but one question.. in screenshot #2 the car looks so tiny compared to the roadway.. like a micro machine! is that a four-lane highway? looks like two lanes or even just one from screenshot #3.. anyways great work keep it up and i'm looking forward to race day!

Hey all thanks for the comments, yes the car is a little bit too small. I haven't scaled the map to fit properly. I'm using a set of grid lines to build from, scaling comes after everything is complete.

This map isn't from another game... although it is inspired from the level Aquatica from NFS3 as well as the beaches in the Bahama's... We've only showed you a little portion of what the track will be

Looks Great But If I may the Car looks way too small maybe a little sceGumScale would do the trick. Also To make this game better you should do the AA trick (that is if you can get it to run at 60fps the entire game) (Pm for more details)

already running at more than 60fps "anti-aliasing" (your AA trick i suppose) already applied (PSP anti-aliasing is ... poor. but it's better than nothing ! ) Maybe if you have some suggestion why not PM me ?
