Melody v1.0

Yes the menu is trasparent

Melody is the standalone music player of Choice BETA 1.5

Some may just want the music player so it is being released as a stanalone version.
please take note that melody is still being developed and Melody v1.0.x will have shuffle & repeat playback.

ID3v3 PNG Cover Art only supported.

ID3v2 & ID3v4 will be added.
only cover art in png none interlaced supported.
144 x 144 size, if larger will be reduced in size on screen to 144 x 144 and you may notice a slight slow down in scrolling when loading large cover art

Well it is very much still getting worked on so will get more stuff added.
What it dose at the moment is allows you to assign your music collection to playlists, a way of grouping it in sections

you do this by vieing your library and pressing left/right to change the selected playlist

after you are finished you can simple select a playlist and left/right allows you to star rate them.

or start playing the playlist from the selected song place.

Change the background.

Because it is a standalone version of the player in Choice you don't have a background changer as it was part of choice.

But it is part of Choice after all so the same background file from Choice works in Melody

simply create a text file named background.url at the same location of the Melody EBOOT file.

the background.url text file simply has a pathname to the png file used as your backdrop/wallpaper

say you had a background in your picture folder coolpic.png

you text file will have this

if you placed it in the resources folder of melody you can just used related path

I didn't, I said I doubted it. Also, it's not like this person has clear access to any of your personal files, he/she just helps you manage a forum.

If every person had the same mindset as you, when it comes to things like these, site would die out within days.

A forum has to be maintained by the one who set it up, full stop

if any security issues come allong you have to plug the holes quick before users personal information like e-mail could be leaked to anyone depending what security issues come up.

I like it, but why cant i choose the second theme, and you should (if you want) make a video player for it to. like mpeg, avi, and wmv cause their is nothing like that for psp.

and PSPlayerMT can only play some mpeg videos. no avi, or wmv.

I really like your app. its super sexy lol

hey really cool app, the only problem i have is i cant play any of my music, it shows up on the menu, but it wont play. i changed the background and everything, it looks real nice, but it would be awesome if it played my music.

i think by the way that some features have to be added..for example time elapsed and remaining..maybe a folder managing..
please don't stop developing it like i did (wrong..) with my simpleamp ^^
